Why She Goes Outside

Adventure for every woman.

No experience necessary. No pressure to keep up. Just real women, real laughter, real fresh air — and maybe a really good pastry at the end of the trail.

🌸
Gentle by Design

Bike rides under 10 miles. Hikes from 3-5 miles. Activities chosen so everyone — every body — can join in and have a wonderful time.

🤝
Real Community

Meet women who get it. Build friendships that last long after the event ends. This is about belonging, not just showing up.

🌲
PNW & Beyond

Tulip festivals, snowy trails, ocean walks, and secret local gems. Our backyard is spectacular — and we're going to explore all of it.

🍵
Joy is the Goal

New foods. Scenic stops. A good cup of coffee mid-hike. Swimming, snacking, laughing. If it sounds delightful, it belongs on our itinerary.

— Margaret T., Seattle
★★★★★
"The tulip festival trip was pure magic. JoAnne thinks of everything — the pace, the snacks, the stops. I never once felt like I was slowing anyone down."
— Sandra K., Bellevue
★★★★★
"I moved to Seattle at 58 and didn't know a soul. She Goes Outside gave me a community. I can't imagine my life here without these women."
